Hello & Welcome!
I am excited to be a part of Embrace Recovery and Wellness Center and grateful to be doing what I love! I originally completed my undergraduate work at Ball State with a B.S. in accounting. After years of working in the business world, I had the desire to change direction and professions. I wanted to work with and make a difference in people’s lives. The field of addictions and mental health counseling filled that desire and I graduated from Xavier University with my Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling. I am currently a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, a Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant.
My approach to therapy is a collaborative process, meaning that I respect my clients as the ultimate experts in finding solutions that are right for them. We will work together to explore problems you have, candid conversations, brainstorm potential solutions, and reflect on alternatives. It is a partnership that is experienced as open, respectful, energized, and purposeful. We will work together to develop skills and strategies to deal with challenges according to the client’s own needs and values.
Ultimately, I believe every individual deserves the opportunity to enjoy life. We will deal with obstacles head on, but we will also laugh and appreciate the journey and our time together. I look forward to the opportunity for us to work together and get you back to the person you want to be.
"Going to therapy with Kennedy has helped me in many ways.... to help with stress relievers and anxiety. Being able to talk with him about my life & what I've done helped me realize how to fix it. Kennedy really understood me and I trust him. I couldn't thank him enough for what he did - he's such a great guy."
“My son seems to be in good spirits after sessions with Jeff."
